Sights

Aghios Nikolaos and Elounda are surrounded by picturesque old villages, deep gorges and ancient sites of great archaeological interest such as the ancient cities of Lato and Gournia. The ancient city of Erimoupoli, the ancient palace of Zakros and the Vai Palm Forest are all only a two hour drive away.

The Minoan palace of Knossos is situated in Heraklion. A variety of sports activities and interests can be fulfilled in Crete including a variety of water sports, sailing and boat trips, mountain walks and canyoning or even golf.
